This handmade clay on canvas sculpture depicts one of the most famous monsters from the mythology and folklore of Southeast Asia, the Penanggalan.
Sculpture is hand sculpted with Apoxy Sculpt and hand painted with Acrylic paints. It is mounted within a black, block frame. Sculpture is 2.5 D, with the monster coming farther off the canvas as she rises into the sky.
